"Spirit of sacrifice, effort and companionship preside over my relationship of almost 30 years with OHLA"

Modroño González

Payroll Coordinator in OHLA’s Human Resources Department

On the verge of retirement, for which he has enviable plans, our colleague Ismael Modroño González shared in Mosaico his experience of almost 30 years in OHLA’s Human Resources team, where he currently holds the position of Coordinator of Payroll and Relations with the Public Administration in Labor Matters.

This career, which spans more than five decades in the construction sector, has allowed Ismael to achieve a high degree of specialization and knowledge that he likes to pass on to the new generations of professionals who have joined the company. “Spirit of sacrifice, desire to do things well and companionship” are his mottos and, he added, “we must show interest in the work we do and create a personal bond with the company based on gratitude, because it is the company that allows us to grow professionally and personally and offer a future to our families.

When we asked him about his daily work, he commented that “we must always aspire to set the bar as high as possible, and this can only be achieved with seriousness, commitment and hard work, always striving to improve”.

From these pages we would like to thank Ismael for his teachings and we wish him luck in his exciting new personal journey.

He has a home at OHLA!
