The initiative, promoted by the Madrid City Council, will illuminate the city from 29 to 31 October

Centro Canalejas Madrid joins the first edition of the LuzMadrid International Festival

Centro Canalejas Madrid will be present at the first edition of the LuzMadrid International Festival, an initiative of the City Council of the capital to be held between 29 and 31 October and which invites to rediscover the cultural and architectural heritage of the city through light. With art and entertainment as the main threads, the festival will include a score of installations by renowned national and international artists in emblematic spaces and buildings of Madrid, among them, Centro Canalejas Madrid, which has celebrated its first anniversary since it opened its doors with the opening of the Four Seasons hotel.

In front of the chamfer of the Four Seasons hotel, at the confluence of Calle Alcalá and Plaza Canalejas, the artist Daniel Iregui will present Antibodies, an interactive installation that can be visited for free. Created during the quarantine, the piece presents an endless video call that reflects how absent and distant we are when using these types of social gatherings imposed by circumstances.

LuzMadrid is part of the prestigious network of light festivals held in various European cities such as Lyon, Frankfurt, Brussels, Lisbon, Tallin, Eindhoven or Turin.
