OHL adds new contracts to its backlog. More than 140 million euros in projects in the USA and Chile. In this last country, the company will carry out the construction of the project Third Lanes of Route 78, consisting of the extension of 35 km of track, in the stretch between the municipalities of Santiago and Talagante. The initiative, granted by Vías Chile, of the Abertis Group, owner among others of the Concessionaire Autopista del Sol, joins other projects carried out by OHL in the country, where it has been presence since 1981.
Awards in USA
In the USA, the company, through its subsidiaries Judlau Contracting, Inc. and Community Asphalt Corporation, has recently been awarded two new projects for nearly 70 million euros. Moreover, Judlau has been selected as the 2019 Contractor of the Year by ENR New York, a leading industry publication.
In New York, Judlau will perform overcoat painting and structural steel repairs from 48th Street to 72nd Street on the Flushing Line in the Borough of Queens. In Florida, Community Asphalt will make improvements to 21.5 km of the Florida Turnpike in the Treasure Coast region.
