OHL, via its subsidiary company, Judlau Contracting, Inc., has been awarded a new contract by the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, valued at $151.6 million (€128.2 million) in Illinois (USA). This contract adds to other three projects with a combined value of $157 million (€133.2 million) awarded by the same owner.

Judlau will execute improvements along the Tri-State Tollway (I-294), as part of Illinois Tollway’s $4 billion plan (€3.6 billion) to increase capacity, reduce congestion, and improve travel reliability on this highway.

The scope of work under the new project includes roadway and bride widening and reconstruction on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294), Mile Post 35.04 (south of Grand Avenue) to Mile Post 36.70 (Wolf Road), and the Elgin O’Hare Western Access Tollway (I-490), Ramp S1 and Ramp S2. The scope includes relocation of Franklin Park utilities, construction of new ramps, bridges and retaining walls, mainline pavement, drainage improvements, installation of permanent pavement marking and signing, erosion control measures and landscaping improvements and ITS infrastructure, among other works.

In addition, Judlau has been awarded a contract in Illinois, United States, for a total of 64 million dollars (58 million euros), the project of I-57 Roadway and Bridge Widening and I-295rt
