- OHL Servicios-Ingesan, as part of its digital transformation strategy, offers its current and future clients in Spain and Chile, the ZenZoe ultraviolet light robotic disinfection system, developed by ASTI and BOOS
- The company will apply this Spanish technology, with the capacity to inactivate the viral load of Covid-19 and other pathogens by 99.9%, in environments such as hospitals, transport infrastructures, educational, administrative and commercial premises
OHL Servicios-Ingesan strengthens the digital transformation strategy of its activity and its commitment to Spanish R&D with the signing of an agreement with the ASTI Mobile Robotics and BOOS Technical Lighting technologies to be able to use ZenZoe, an advanced surface and air disinfection system that inactivates the viral load of 99.9% of pathogens, including Covid-19. This alliance turns the OHL subsidiary –specialized in facility management– into a benchmark partner in the use of this innovative robotic system within the Spanish and Chilean markets.
The robot known as ZenZoe, which uses Spanish technology developed jointly by ASTI Mobile Robotics and BOOS Technical Lighting, is characterized by the application of ultraviolet light (UV-C) synchronized with the continuous movement of the robotic vehicle. It respects the environment and does not require waiting time to be able to use it again in the disinfected location. The fast loading capacity of the robot, with optional battery replacement, allows 24/7 operation. In addition, the ZenZoe Simulator© radiation calculation software allows the disinfection strategy to be anticipated and planned with greater precision. This disinfection system has been verified in the NBC laboratory of the Spanish National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA, by its acronym in Spanish), in collaboration with the the Spanish Military Emergency Unit (UME, by its acronym in Spanish).
