OHLA has begun construction work on the Malpartida bypass road in the province of Cáceres (Extremadura), a project awarded by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (MITMA) for nearly 45 million euros. This is one of the first MITMA projects to use BIM methodology and digital twins. It is also the first time that the OHLA infrastructure group has made use of this technology in Spain, a technology it has already used in the Lund Arlöv railway project in Sweden.
