At OHL we follow the guidelines and recommendations issued by leading institutions and authorities on the matter: United Nations (UN), International Labour Organization (ILO) and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
We belong to the United Nations Global Compact since 2004 and are a founding member of its Spanish Network. Since then, we have been working to promote and disseminate its Ten Principles. We also follow the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, approved in 2011, which establish that all enterprises are responsible for upholding human rights.

617 million young people in the world lack basic numeracy and a minimum level of literacy. On World Education Day, we would like to tell you that OHL works to reduce the education gap through its participation in various initiatives developed in the communities where it is present, aimed at providing training and technical skills to people in situations of social vulnerability, for their full integration into society.
