Raúl Esteban Hernández
OHLA Manager
I would like to talk to you about the corporate volunteer activities that we have carried out for the last four years together with other colleagues in Latin America and, more specifically, in Peru, and which bring us so much joy. Joy, because I consider it a privilege to help improve the lives of people in a vulnerable situation. Simple gestures, such as the donation of school material to low-income families, participating in the construction and equipping of schools and study centers for professional training or organizing workshops on labor market insertion for unemployed people are some of the activities in which I have participated and which have allowed me to connect with other realities and realize how a small bit can change the life of many people for the better and forever. It also brings joy at a collective level, because it feeds our spirit of cohesion, solidarity and empathy, and makes our life and our profession much more rewarding.
In addition to promoting the organization of volunteering in my area of operation, I would like to thank our fellow volunteers for participating. Their dedication and generosity brings added value to the local community in the places where we carry out our work. I encourage you to be part of this adventure and feel the joy of working towards a fairer society.
